ISSUE #4: The one question that will keep changing your life
A big question to ask yourself when you're ready for a change or business pivot.
You may know by now (or maybe you're new here 👋🏾) that over the past 10 years I've made A LOT of pivots. From making jewelry, to blogging, to coaching bloggers, to coaching entrepreneurs and now in the wellness space with Intentionally Made.
Through all of these changes, I'm often asked how did I know what my next pivot would be. Honestly, the answer is this one simple question, "What would I do for the rest of my life if money wasn't a factor?"
I've had a habit in the past of sticking with business ideas just because I knew they would make money. Even though my gut would tell me that it was time to move on, I'd stick with it because I knew the money was guaranteed. But continuing to operate in a space that is no longer serving you just because of the money is one of the fastest ways to burnout. Ask me how I know. 🥲
When I'm considering my next pivot or change I always ask myself this question and let me tell you, that one question keeps changing my life. It pulls me back into alignment when I've fallen off and overall I feel happier, fulfilled and more motivated than ever.
So if you've been feeling stuck, confused or worried about what you should be doing next, ask yourself, "What would I do for the rest of my life if money wasn't a problem?" Then take the steps needed to get to that place. Because there is no point in building a business that you don't even like!
Thank you for pausing with me!
