Issue #94: Creating a Healthier and More Sustainable Way To Do Entrepreneurship
A look into my 2025 goals and beyond
I believe that the entrepreneur landscape is changing for the better. While social media seems to be rapidly going downhill, I’m noticing that more entrepreneurs are realizing that the old ways of building a successful business is no longer sustainable.
We can no longer hustle our way through the exhaustion.
We’re learning that the lasting effects of burnout are no longer worth it.
And we’re realizing that the “bro marketer” way of building a business was never designed for us to succeed anyway.
I came to this conclusion back in 2019, shortly after I had my daughter. Postpartum depression not only showed me how much I was neglecting my own well-being, but it also showed me that the way I was running my business wasn’t realistic. And I’m not the only entrepreneur who has recently come to that conclusion.
We are not only exhausted with running our business but “entrepreneur” also isn’t the only title that we hold. So many of us are parents, caregivers, full-time employees, the list goes on.
The biggest question that came up for me back in 2019 and the question that keeps coming up in the conversations that I have with other entrepreneurs is “How?”
How do you break free from the hustle culture mentality?
How do you stop stretching yourself so thin?
How do you make rest and self-care a daily priority without feeling guilty about it?
My goal for 2025 and beyond is for my company, Doing Everyday Well, to answer those questions and to provide entrepreneurs like you with the resources needed to finally make YOU a priority.
Here’s how I plan to make that happen this year!
THE CAPACITY CALCULATOR
I 100% believe that the reason why so many entrepreneurs end up burnt out is because we plan out our weeks and our to-do list based on what we think we NEED to do vs. what we actually have the capacity to do. The Capacity Calculator is a quiz-like tool that I created to help entrepreneurs not only figure out their capacity level at the start of every week but also properly plan for the week based on that level. I truly see this as a game-changing tool that will help entrepreneurs prevent burnout at the source!

I know that I am a writer. While I have loved writing this newsletter for the past 94 weeks 🤯 , I also miss being able to write freely without feeling like I need to stay “on brand.” I will still be showing up here weekly, but the content will shift a bit. Instead of sharing mostly tips and strategies on how to make rest a priority (that’s what Youtube will be for!), I’ll be sharing more of the behind-the-scenes of how I’m building Doing Everyday Well and how I’m navigating motherhood, my hobbies, and entrepreneurship while practicing what I preach.

I know that a lot of the content that I create shares strategies on how to manage your capacity and make rest a daily priority but the missing link to the Doing Everyday Well puzzle I feel is accountability. This year I’ll be introducing a way for you to not only implement what you’re learning here but also develop a consistent habit!
While 2025 is off to a very interesting start, I have never been more sure on what I am supposed to create on focus on for the year! It’s time for the entrepreneurial space to change for the better and I am excited for Doing Everyday Well to have a major part in that!
