Happy June friends!
The entire month of May for me was FULL (and exhausting). With my daughter’s birthday, my Mind Body Brand event, Mother’s Day, and my wedding anniversary, every single weekend was all movement and little rest. So far, June is shaping up to be the same and honestly, I’m TIRED!
I recently read this very timely article from
that reminded me that it’s ok to rest in the Summer! And actually, we need it!Something about the warm air, longer sunlight, and everyone coming out of hibernation makes me want to run at full speed and complete an entire bucket list in 90 days. And then I wonder once Fall comes around why I’m so exhausted.
This month (and the rest of the Summer), I hope that you join me in committing to rest as much as possible. Even if you feel like you’re wasting the sunlight, even if you have to say “No.”, and even if you don’t get to do that thing that you really wanted to do this season. Remember to take care of yourself.
