I’ve made A LOT of changes over the past few months. I’ve been let go from the 1st full-time job I’ve had in YEARS 🥴, I’ve shifted my business into a totally new industry & Im re-launching my book! So I figured this would be a good time to do a little Q&A! Ask me anything in this thread & I’ll answer your questions in an upcoming video!
So excited for you and these changes! My question is related to monies because in my life that’s what’s taking up all my mental space right now. So, how are you planning / dealing with / budgeting for this transition and launch period? Not even sure that’s a good way to ask, but I guess I’m looking for is your strategy for managing what you currently have plus planning for what you’re expecting to make in the future?? If that makes any sense?
Soooo this is something that I'm still trying to figure out honestly lol The business isnt making much money right now so I've been plotting on some other ways that I can make money in the meantime. (freelance work, finding a job). As far as managing what I do have, I've cut back on a lot of the tools that I use in my business. Like down to the bare minimum so that I can keep costs as low as possible until I start making more money. I also have a list of tools and subscriptions that I want to use in the future. I have an amount in mind that I know I want to make in the business to cover everything so when Im thinking about how I price my offers, im thinking about how that price will get me to my goal number. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
love this. good tip on software / tools / subscriptions for biz, I def will be taking a look at that - such an easy thing to forget. This is going to seem dumb or obvious but I've started a wishlist of stuff to buy, so when I get an ad or think of something randomly - anything from socks to a biz tool or something bigger like botox (lol a girl likes to have the data ok?) I put it in a note and visit monthly to review. Do I still want that thing I put on the list 3 months ago? and it can help me prioritize and then plan for purchases big, small, incidental, or important.
