Autumn, a powerhouse NYC native, wears many hats. She's a non-profit founder, wife, mom, and successful entrepreneur, leading a digital marketing and design agency and several franchise ventures in Atlanta. But her true passion lies in advocating for maternal mental health, particularly for women of color. Driven by her own experiences with PMDD, anxiety, and depression, Autumn has become a vocal champion of moms juggling mental health and motherhood over the past six years. She uses her platform – blogs, podcasts, panels, and workshops – to share her struggles and advocate for change.
Autumn's mission is to raise awareness, influence policy, and foster a supportive community for mothers of color facing mental health challenges. She believes open conversations and a shift in societal views are crucial to empower these women.
In this week's episode, I chat with Autumn about her experience getting diagnosed with PMDD, how she manages it daily, and how it has affected her life as a mom and entrepreneur.
