Laura “Laura OG” Providence is a versatile and interdisciplinary creative forging new spaces at the intersection of design and cannabis.
Laura is an advocate for equity and diversity within the marijuana industry and founded SMK BRK in the pursuit of normalizing conversations between women about cannabis through storytelling, imagery, and music curation. Between both her passion for cannabis and exciting brand concepts, Laura has introduced new levels of execution and thought to both industries and continues to break the ceiling on what’s possible and what’s imagined.
In this episode, Laura shares:
Why she created SMKBRK and how she hopes that it will become the go-to safe haven for women wanting to learn more about cannabis.
Why it has been so hard for women to break into the cannabis industry.
Her knowledge on those who still turn their nose up at the thought of weed.
And the difference between THC and CBD
